I bought these wheels three years ago, and I am still riding them after about 40 000km. I only had the front wheel to be trued and I changed the bearings. Top value for money. But as you said quite heavy and I find them only good on the flat. They lack the "go" uphill and uncomfortable on bad road surfaces..

I have a set of ENT Elitewheels from 2020. They are fantastic, I have another set due for delivery soon. The only issue I ever had was the rubber seal around the hub was poor and didn’t stand up to cleaning and winter weather. This seal has been fixed as far as I’m aware in the newer models.

I've been using the Pillar 1420 for about 2 years, which I upgraded to when I bought it, and it hasn't shaken at all, and the ratchet receiving side is still intact enough to be used without any problems, so it's quite sturdy. Although it is a slightly heavy wheel, I think it is good for practice and everyday use. The new 2.0 is out, but it seems to be 100g lighter and more rigid, so it looks better.

Your objective review of these wheels is spot on. I also have a set of Elite ENT wheels in 50mm and experienced the same characteristics. They are indeed good value for the price. My only real gripe I find the rear hub a bit too noisy for my taste. At said, the small animals that may cross the road in front me know that I'm coming well in advance 😉

I bought ENT's in 38mm and paid extra to have Sapim CX ray spokes installed. The pair came in at about 1550g if I recall correctly. I don't really have anything bad to say about them I run 32C GP 5000 s tr's right now which I am about to replace by 35c P Zero race TLR's (roads are absolutely terrible where I live so they might turn out to be faster overall in my use case.)
I am using ThinkRider TPU tubes meant for 18-32c that weigh 26 grams each and so far are my favorite of the Aliexpress offerings. I intend to disregard the 32c size limit and try them in my 35c tires knowing that some stretch will occur.
Also, I am one of those that doesn't like loud hubs, I replaced the factory grease with Dumondetech pro-x hub grease and it quiets them quite a bit for a few hundred km's before needing to be reapplied. I uploaded a before and after short here.

I bought it now on 11.11 sale, with DPD delivery: 310,92 euro per wheelset + 87.39 euros delivery cost, recommended by the seller.
The sound is too loud for me; now I have a very quiet hub (pedestrians can't hear it).
When you are moving between people it is reasonable to have a loud hub, but on countryside this sound makes me crazy :)
I bought it as a second wheelset to my gravel bike. The overall cost is quite expensive: + rotors, cassette, 180mm flat mount adapter 237,94 euros.
So, without tyres it cost 672,25 euros (my carbon bike cost 1600 euros - MAI Versa).
I hope this week allows me to reach 30+ km/h avg speed on 50-100km distance (now it is around 27-28 km/h).

I recommend the Edge instead of the ENT if you can get them at a discount for a similar or only slightly higher price than me.
